Descended from German wheat farmers who settled in Tennessee, Sam Tucker was introduced to baking at age 19, when he says he "found home." Since then, he has worked under both French and Austrian culinary masters, learning about the art of baking bread and gaining a noticeable comfortability and ease in the kitchen. As executive pastry chef, Sam's talents have been utilized in some of Nashville's most notable restaurants including Wild Boar, Watermark, and Burger up. He most recently served as the opening Chef de Cuisine at the 404 Kitchen.
